Bridging Volunteers is a nonprofit organization aiming to connect volunteers to available opportunities around the world, while also raising funds for important causes. We are a registered nonprofit incorporated in California (entity no. C3893442).

A growing issue we notice is the inadequate support for smaller, grassroots volunteering communities. With the lack of access to the same level of platform that many larger communities have, these organisations remain undermanned and underfunded, and continue to be under-resourced.

With the rising popularity of volunteerism, more and more people are serving in their local communities and abroad. Many are in the forefront of efforts to improve the way they and their fellow citizens are governed and engaged.

Our mission at Bridging Volunteers is to democratize access to volunteers all around the world for the communities that are most in need of volunteering opportunities. Every community in need of volunteering help is welcomed to partner with us and use our platform to ask for volunteering help or simply to raise funds. People who are interested to be a volunteer can also participate by choosing the available programs that resonate most with their interests and values.

We aim to put accountability in the forefront of our operations, and we strive to ensure that all the funds raised for the many different causes listed on our website will be accounted for. Participants in our volunteering programs will also provide regular updates on their progress once they are underway. Check out our Transparency Policy.

How it works:

Our donation campaigns are shown in the main page, while you can find volunteering opportunities under Volunteer Opportunities menu. The left column contains list of organizers, the Upcoming Event shows list of opportunities that is on-going and available for reservation. It serves our goal to match volunteers with available volunteer opportunities.
